The New Shonen Jump Manga Breaking Records

The Japanese magazine Shonen Jump is responsible for some of the biggest manga hits of recent years. And its latest franchise seems to be here to stay.

The new Shonen Jump manga is so successful that records are becoming small for it. Kagurabachi, the new manga from the famous Japanese magazine, has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first series to receive an English version of its animated manga.

This release, along with the successful sales of the first volume and global acclaim, solidifies Kagurabachi as one of the magazine’s strongest bets. It is definitely worth keeping up with which titles work and which do not. After all, this could be the new anime franchise of the coming years.

The truth is that the success of Kagurabachi in Shonen Jump is worth noting. As I mentioned, Shueisha has released 3 episodes of the animated manga on their YouTube channel with English dialogues, an unprecedented move that seeks to capitalize on the series’ international popularity.

However, this must be added to the sales record that the manga has achieved. The first volume of Kagurabachi quickly sold out in physical and online stores, prompting a reprint just two weeks after its release.

To top it off, the franchise has already received international acclaim. Kagurabachi has become one of the most read series in Shueisha’s MANGA Plus app, and has received praise from the creator of Jujutsu Kaisen, among others. Therefore, it is beginning to seriously consolidate itself within the manga and anime industry.

A very promising future for Kagurabachi and Shonen Jump

Of course, the future for Kagurabachi is very bright. The title is shaping up to be one of the most important series of Shonen Jump in the coming years. The magazine’s NEXTWAVE initiative, which seeks to promote new talents, seems to be bearing fruit.

But what is this franchise specifically about? What is the plot of Kagurabachi? This manga tells the story of Chihiro, a young man who dreams of becoming a swordsmith and trains daily under the tutelage of his father, a respected artisan.

Although his father is cheerful and playful, Chihiro is more reserved. However, his life changes drastically when tragedy strikes, filling his days with pain and blood. Driven by the desire for revenge, Chihiro wields his sword in search of justice.

If you haven’t checked out the Kagurabachi manga yet, what are you waiting for? Give it a chance to the title of the season. I’m sure it won’t leave you indifferent.
