Stellar Blade has offered a new carousel of details about its action proposal. The creators of this title reveal their inspirations, content, and much more that we will soon see.
Stellar Blade will be released on April 26th on PS5 as a major third-party exclusive. The Korean development seeks to replicate the success of another home project like Lies of P, but this time with a clear hack and slash formula.
The cyberpunk adventure of Eve will be a single-player action title that will feature a linear route mixed with semi-open world areas. This has been one of the many details revealed in an interview with IGN Japan.

Shift Up Corporation has revealed its inspirations when shaping Stellar Blade. The game has been based on NieR: Automata, but also on Sekiro Shadows Die Twice, Bayonetta, God of War, and even Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
Both the tone and the setting seek to replicate what is seen in science fiction works such as Blade Runner or Alita: Battle Angel. And what about the gameplay? Well, the development team has commented the following in this regard:
Combos, blocks, and evasion will play an important role in the combat, which will be very frenetic but will also require the player to carefully evaluate the movements of enemies. Bosses, for example, will be very important and will have a number of attack patterns.
Other important details include the ability to adjust difficulties, the handling of long-range weapons or the presence of side missions to rebuild the city of Sion or the presence of side activities such as fishing.
Regarding Eve’s customization, the game will offer up to 30 outfits, some of which will require materials. Characters like Adam and Lily also have their own outfits and there will be rare and “silly” designs.
There is still time to see Stellar Blade in action, so we are sure to continue learning more details and information as the days and weeks go by. What do you think of this exclusive for PS5?
