Helldivers 2, the new shooter from PlayStation, will receive a new patch very soon on Steam and PS5 fixing the most common errors.
Helldivers 2 is already available on PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam, Steam Deck), and is on track to become the best Sony game release on Steam, also due to being the first to launch simultaneously on both platforms in order to quickly build a large player base.
This cooperative shooter, with 4 players against alien monsters, has been developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
The first players who jumped at Helldivers 2 today, at a price of 39.99 euros, have encountered a series of technical errors and crashes that have already been addressed in a patch about to be released.

In this statement they explain that the issues players have experienced today, their first day of operation, including game crashes, will be resolved in a patch that will be released first on Steam and then on PS5 as quickly as possible.
Despite the anticipation for the game, which had up to 62,000 people playing at the same time on Steam, the reviews on Steam are “Mixed,” and only 52% are positive. Almost all agree that the crashes have prevented them from playing.
Arrow Head, also the creators of the first Helldivers from 2015 (which was a first-person shooter), will now work to fix the game and provide it with content for months or hopefully years.
Although its developers, Arrowhead, are an independent studio, it has been published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, as one of its bets to create games as a service that provide long-term revenue.
Helldivers 2 is already available on PC and PS5, priced at 39.99 euros. Remember that it will have a lot of post-launch content, and it will be free.
