Free Multiplayer Weekend in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – Season 2 Details

The players of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 have a new reason to return to their multiplayer games as Season 2 begins today in the shooter. Along with this new season, there is also a new opportunity to try the game for free, as is customary with Activision teams.

According to its official website, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will allow users around the world to attend its multiplayer games from February 8 to 12. During this time, players can experience the new map “Stash House” which arrives with Season 2, along with 8 additional scenarios. They will also be able to participate in various game modes such as Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, Domination, and Team Gun Game. The zero-cost trial will also include Modern Warfare Zombies and their respective new features.

For players who have already purchased the title, Season 2 brings the addition of three 6vs6 maps – Vista, Departures, and Stash House. Vista and Departures are set as medium-sized stages, while Stash House offers a challenge to players by forcing them to navigate a smaller terrain.

In terms of future changes for the Call of Duty saga, there is a leaked information that the development team is planning for its next adventure set in the Gulf War to take place in an open world. This could be a major change for the franchise, hinting at potential open world releases in the years to come.

Both of these news pieces were confirmed in leaks earlier in the month.

However, it seems that for the future of Call of Duty, we can expect major changes and new experiences in the games to come.
