PS Plus February 2024 Games
The PS Plus games for February 2024 are now available, with the release of Foamstars, Square Enix’s new shooter, very similar to Splatoon?
The free games for PS Plus this month are now available to all PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, or Premium subscribers on PS4 and PS5. There are three games, one of them being a new release: Foamstars.
This month’s batch of PS Plus games will be available until March 4th: you have a month to redeem them, and you will keep them forever in your library (but you can only access them if you maintain your PS Plus subscription).
This month we have three games: Foamstars, Rollerdrome, and Steelrising. Two multiplayer games, and one soulslike, although the one we are highlighting is the new IP from Square Enix.
Foamstars, Much More Than Square Enix’s Splatoon?
When Foamstars was announced last summer, it raised many eyebrows due to its resemblance to Splatoon: a 4v4 shooter in which weapons shoot team-colored foam that spreads across the map and hinders the opponent.
Its creators, however, assure that it is different, in part because the foam has volume, which completely changes the dynamics of the games and the possibilities for action (and creation).
Foamstars is a PlayStation exclusive shooter (not even available on PC) and starting March 4th will cost 30 euros, but for now, you can get it when you subscribe to PS Plus (naturally, you need to have PS Plus to play it, as almost all modes are online).
Remember that you can now claim the free PS Plus games from your consoles or the web on computers or mobile devices. Foamstars, Rollerdrome, and Steelrising are three very original titles, with familiar and unique gameplay proposals, which are already yours if you are a PS Plus subscriber on PS5 and PS4.
