Sony has a slight glitch on PSN and reveals new details about the demo being prepared for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, with information that you can play as Cloud or Sephiroth.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is coming soon to PS5 after Final Fantasy VII Remake and Intergrade on PS4, PC, and Steam Deck, but Square Enix is preparing a demo before that, something that Sony has let slip and has confirmed will be available today.
On February 29, 2024, we will be able to play the continuation of this new Final Fantasy VII trilogy and it would be wise to make space on our console, because before installing the game, there are things to do.
We already know that Aerith’s fate will be “one of the most important themes of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth” and that the winged character is “the driving force” of the sequel, but not how we will see this.
But we won’t have to wait long to find out a little of what’s to come with the sequel to the game, because Sony has the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo on PS5 planned for February 6, 2024.
This is what Wario64 reports on Twitter, a well-known user on social media who was able to see a trailer of the playable demo of FFVII Rebirth on PlayStation Network and shared it on the Elon Musk social network.
In the tweet below, you can read that Square Enix has planned the demo to “play as Cloud or Sephiroth during the Nibelheim episode”.
“PSN confirms that the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo arrives tomorrow”, today in this case because the tweet was published during the early hours of February 5 to 6 on Spanish time.
“It says it’s ‘already available’, but I think the trailer was planned for tomorrow”, so these suspicions are confirmed almost 100% and today we will have confirmation.
We will see if the developer has decided to change many events in this part of the game or if most of the events remain intact, as it is a very important area.
Both Tifa and the background city are also important
If this is your first contact with this part of the game, enjoy it. For those who come from Final Fantasy VII on PlayStation, good luck to relive some moments of the story.
From Twitter, the well-known user aitaikimochi claims that it is “the Nibelheim + Junon flashback, seems to be the same demo available at the Tokyo Game Show and other events in recent months”.
Perhaps this is also part of what the voice actor for Cloud and the English actress for Tifa referred to just a few days ago.
Sony plans to offer an “extended look at Final Fantasy VII Rebirth” today, Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 00:30 Spanish Peninsular time.
Meanwhile, the game itself surprised by revealing an elaborate minigame to play the piano and it was clear that it is one of the best video games of February 2024.
These details of the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo on PS5 were made possible by a mistake by Sony in the PlayStation Network, but be very careful with any spoilers from users in the early hours of the morning.
