Discover Háblame, the Little Horror Film Rejected by Directors for DC Project

Media

Háblame is a supernatural horror thriller that has been receiving very good reviews. The film, directed by brothers Danny and Michael Philippou, was released on Prime Video a couple of years ago and has gained a lot of attention. Despite being offered a project in the DC universe, the Philippou brothers chose to work on this film instead, which turned out to be a great decision. The film has managed to raise more than 90 million dollars, despite having a budget of only 4.5 million.

The plot of Háblame revolves around an embalmed hand that is capable of invoking spirits when someone comes into contact with it. The main character, Mia, experiences this firsthand when she and her friends encounter the hand. What starts as a game and a fun experience soon turns chaotic and dangerous as they come into contact with spirits.

The tension and intrigue of the plot, as well as the performance of the cast, especially Sophie Wilde, make the film a gripping and engaging watch. Wilde’s portrayal of Mia and her personal trauma adds depth to the story.

If you’re interested in watching Háblame, it is available for streaming on Prime Video.
