Marvel Studios is back with an exciting reveal during the Super Bowl, one of the biggest TV events in the US. They have shared an extensive trailer for their big 2024 release, Deadpool 3, or as it is now called, Deadpool & Wolverine.
The trailer, which is over two minutes long, showcases the mercenary with a mouth in action, with a surprise appearance from Hugh Jackman as Wolverine stealing the spotlight. The film, which finished filming on January 24 and will be released in theaters on July 26, promises to bring a new crossover experience, with Marvel Studios keeping many surprises under wraps for the fans.
The most significant element in the trailer is the introduction of the character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the presence of the Time Variance Authority (TVA) from the Loki series. This organization seeks to recruit Wade Wilson, which the “hero” seems to willingly accept.
Directed by Shawn Levy with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the lead roles, the film also stars Emma Corrin, Matthew Macfadyen, and veterans from the first two installments of the saga.
It is worth noting that this is the only Marvel Studios movie scheduled for release in 2024, after a break due to setbacks in theaters in 2023 and a forced break caused by a strike. There will be up to three premieres based on Marvel characters from Sony, with the most imminent being the arrival of Madame Web.
Overall, Deadpool & Wolverine promises to be an exciting addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and fans can expect a thrilling crossover experience come July 26.
