Curing Putrefaction in Baldur’s Gate 3

Curing Putrefaction in Baldur’s Gate 3

We tell you about all the existing procedures so you can cure the annoying putrefaction in your characters, and you will only need to have these specific classes.

There are a multitude of altered states that we will have to deal with in our games in Baldur’s Gate 3, and that can end up being a problem.

And one of the altered states that seem harmless but becomes really dangerous in Baldur’s Gate 3 is putrefaction.

The first time one of the characters is affected by putrefaction, it apparently will have no negative effects, but over time, you will see the character lose most of their health and stamina.

Failing to treat this altered state or disease in time in Baldur’s Gate 3 can be very detrimental as we progress, but we will tell you several methods to get rid of putrefaction.

Basically, we have three procedures to get rid of putrefaction in our characters. One is by using the lesser restoration spell, another is by using the paladins’ lay on hands ability, and the third is through an amulet.

The easiest is the lay on hands ability of the paladins, so it is essential that you have a paladin in your team.

By using the lay on hands from any paladin, you can cure this disease at any time in the game.

But if you don’t have any paladins in the team, you will have to unlock the level 2 lesser restoration spell, which is available in the bard, cleric, and druid classes at level 3, and paladin and ranger classes at level 5.

Putrefaction is a fairly slow disease that slightly reduces the character’s health and stamina, so you will have more than enough time to unlock the previous spell before it’s too late.

Try to level up Shadowheart as soon as possible so she has access to this lesser restoration spell.

But if you don’t have any of the above, you can always hide the Silvanus amulet under a stone near the fishing bear in the druid grove, an amulet that allows any class to use the lesser restoration spell once a day.

As you can see, there are many ways we have to cure putrefaction in Baldur’s Gate 3, so don’t let your characters get sick.
