A Mena (southern USA) man has admitted in court to having sex with animals. John
R. Coppes, 26, pleaded guilty today to charges involving sexual contact
with both a dog and a horse in an incident last year.
He was sentenced in Polk County Circuit Court to one year in jail. Coppes was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and $100 in court costs.
The man was arrested back in December after a Mena teenager reported Coppes came to her home and attacked her family's pets.
