Isayas Afewerki's next target - peaceful Puntland
The northeastern tip of Somalia has been a peaceful haven in an often violent nation, but a powerful warlord and a series of recent clashes are threatening to open a new zone of lawlessness.

Militants loyal to warlord Mohamed Said Atom have repeatedly fought against government forces in recent weeks, and Atom told a local radio station that his men have retreated to their mountain hideout in Gal Gala to plan guerrilla attacks. Government forces recently drove through the desert toward Gal Gala in pickup trucks mounted with machine guns.

A U.N. report says officials have credible information that Atom has delivered arms sent by Eritrea to al-Shabab forces in southern Somalia. Al-Shabab is Somalia's dominant insurgent group and has ties with al-Qaida.
A March report by the U.N.'s Monitoring Group says Atom has been importing arms from Yemen and receiving consignments from Eritrea, including mortars, for delivery to southern Somalia.

Another Fabrication to back the lot lies
This is another fabrication the UN put forward with any evidence like the many lies he filed (but failed to share it with member states) to back its case against Eritrea for the sanction.

To be credible, UN has to let Eritrea defend herslef by bringing all the evidences he has (if any).

Otherwise, the UN can not be the accuser, the wittness and the Judge at the same time.

it is UNfair and Illigial

Africaner

It is a shame for we africans that we can't solve our differences among brothers.Africans need to learn how to live peacefully together and as neigbhors. It takes big heart so co-exist.conceision,compromisation,negotiation,and co-operation need to play leding role is solving the problem of the region. The neighboring leaders need to pose, and change their strategy, approach the problem as peace broker. africans need to interven in Somalians and help that nation to have representative government.Isayas and the rest need not agravate the allready volitile situation.

Typical wayane attention diversion arts and crafts. "Egypt is going to attack us, Somalia is attacking us, Sudan is attacking us, Eritrea is attacking us, terrorists are attacking us, Qaal Qiqiqiqi..Qaeda is attacking us... so, if not for the GREAT DICTATOR wayane implementing over 10% economic growth, Ethiopia would have been just a kilo of Kenyan Gee butter in hot sun and would have melted in to the thin air. Watch with what kinds of magic explanation and attention diversion comedies I will be coming up in times to come.

After we are keeping Eritrea's piece of territory illegally and by sheer brute force even though that area has been internationally adjudicated for that country. Preemptive aggression is the way to divert attention from the land robbery too.

Add to this starting the next round of war just to get rid of the dissatisfied domestic oppositions and their supporters from regrouping and focusing on our election robbery. It is all about playing with the emotions and antipathies of the victims and blaming them both domestically and internationally." Wayane has to say
