Ethiopian citizenship being replaced by EPRDF membership- Gebru

"In Ethiopia, citizenship is being replaced by [party] membership."

Gebru Asrat, former president of the Tigray Regional State and founder of the opposition party, Arena Tigray, which split from the Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Democratic Front, said in an interview with the Amharic weekly, Negad Ras, on Wednesday, January 6, 2010. He went on to explain that there are two kinds of citizens, those who are party members and those who are not.

Ethiopia will cease to exist very soon.
Who needs to be Ethiopian. I bet people will laugh at you at the idea of becoming Ethiopian. Give it few years and you shall only hear the name Ethiopia in the history book. You can replace Ethiopian citizenship with shit for all I care.

Free, proud and prosperous Oromia shall rise and take it's place.

Gebru Asrat, when did this realty revealed to you? After you were revoked presidency of your area? EPRDF, Ethiopia, Habasha, they are all the same. Birds of the same feather flock together. And they will get lost together!!!!!
