First of all, Orthodox Christians did not attack the police. Your report looks a bit baised. Regarding Jimma times, I have been admiring them since they started their work. However, now a days, they are getting very narrow minded and I am thinking if the moderator has been chenged recently. Any ways, my advice is never mix politics with religion. Respect others idea and religion like as you would like your religion and ideas to be respected. Otherwise, say it OLF, or any other party, they can not be successful with out respecting other ideas and religoin. Do not forget that respecting other's idea does not mean accepting their idea.

my fellow dessians are innocent. they do and die for what they believe is right. but i don't think it was necessary to fight for something that is illegal. i believe there must've been some tension between those two religions. hey i hope they can coexist like they have been for these many yrs.

I have read a very baised articles in Jimma Times frequently and I don't know why you really hate the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. May be considering it as Tigray's and Amhara's religion is a cover used to expand protestantism. It is a religion which teaches the equality of human beings being it Oromo, Amhara,....

I know that it is a headache for most of you with this mentality that Ethiopia is a land of Christians. Please what can we help you? It is a naked reality and unfortunately truths never changed by mass voting nor typing such a non-sense article. But no one denies that there are a significant number of muslims as well.

When I come to the point, it is sad to read that a human being is killed irresponsibly as such be it Christian, Muslim or other. Anyway I belive there is a time that everyone gets its wage. But please don't fool to destroy this church. Many like Gragn Ahmed, Yodit,....tried thier best. we have been patient for so long, and we are going to tolerate the illegal occupation and exploitation.

There is not a single person from a continent of Africa/black person who ever came with a concept of religion. However, everyone in that continent, particularly in Ethiopia is practicng their religion.

From my personal openion, there is no religion that promote violence and at the same time there is no religion that teach people how to co-exist, rather they all want to be dominent for some reason.

One more thing, do you Know who is going to be punished after life? is those like you who gave a God/Allah a human beings role by saying, if one do not follow certain path and avoid certain things will be in hell or if he/she did the opposite will be rewarded by going to heaven, isn't that over all idea of religion? What made you think God think like a dictator? and punish you if you don't do what he said do.
