In 2005, the international commission in the Hague accused Eritrea for starting the 1998-2000 border war with Ethiopia. Over the years, Eritrea has started big and small battles against Yemen, Ethiopia, Sudan and Djibouti.
In 1998, Eritrean troops invaded Ethiopian territories using an excuse that they were defending themselves. On
Saturday this week, the Eritrean Ministry of Information published an article
claiming it repelled an attack by Ethiopian troops at Zalambesa. Will
history repeat itself again and Eritrea start another war using its excuses?
Is the angry Eritrean President planning to scapegoat the UN sanctions
for his latest invasion?
