Oromia Blog | Ten commandments to achieve Bilisummaa

Opinion | Fayyis

Hallo Oromos. Here is my attempt to find ten important things we need to do to attain our Bilisummaa. We can improve them and then have always in mind in order to live accordingly. Do your best to improve.

1. Think, talk and walk always in interest of Oromo nation/ oppose those against our interests.

2. Promote Afaan Oromo in speaking and writing it/ avoid temptations which make you prefer other languages.

3. Study, advocate and promote Amanti Oromo aka Waaqeffanna/ oppose those denigerating it.

4. Attain and maintain Tokummaa Oromo for Bilisummaa/ oppose all sowing discord among Oromos.

5. Respect the affiliation of Oromos to their region, party and religion/ oppose those playing with them to devide Oromos.

6. Have a picture of Biyya Oromo always in mind and struggle for its sovereignity/ oppose those aginst our sovereignity.

7. Be patriotic or love your father land and have an understanding for other nations who do the same/ oppose those who fight against our patriotism.

8. Be excellent in your profession like our athlet Qananisaa and our scientist Gabbisaa so that Oromos be proud of you/ oppose those who denigerate our heros.

9. Support a possible Union with our neighbour nations/ oppose "unity" which is at the cost of our liberty.

10. Do your best to promote Biyyaa Oromo culturally, economically and politically/ oppose all sorts of foreign looters and oppressors in biyyaa Oromo!

"Hello Oromo! Here is my attempt to find ten important principles we need to practice to attain
our Bilisummaa. We can improve on them and then have them always in mind in order to live
accordingly. Do your best to improve!

1. Think, talk and walk always in the interest of Oromo nation Oromia, but oppose those
against our interests.

2. Promote Afaan Oromo in speaking and writing, but avoid temptations which make you
prefer other languages.

3. Study, advocate and promote Amantii Oromoo aka Waaqeffannaa, but oppose those
denigrating it.

4. Attain and maintain Tokummaa Oromoo for Bilisummaa, but oppose all those who sow
discord among Oromians.

5. Respect the affiliation of Oromo to their region, party and religion, but oppose those
playing with them to divide Oromos.

6. Have a picture of Biyya Oromoo always in mind and struggle for its sovereignty, but
oppose those who act against our sovereignty and freedom.

7. Be patriotic or love your fatherland and have an understanding for other nations who do
the same, but oppose those who fight against our patriotism or sabboonummaa.

8. Be excellent in your profession like our athlete Qananisaa Baqqalaa and our scientist
Professor Gabbisaa Ejjetaa so that the world will be proud of you, but oppose those who
denigrate our heroes.

9. Support a possible Union with our neighbouring nations, but oppose "unity" which is at
the cost of our liberty.

10. Do your best to promote Oromia culturally, economically and politically, but oppose all
sorts of foreign looters and oppressors in Oromia!"

O Oromiya fd up
It is only yesterday, the day before I was thinking of writing this writing that I heard from a certain sources that … someone I know has elected as a leader of the small Oromiy community in the NW. in fact, it is always good to have a lieder …a good one. I have no personal complaint against any leader of any sort, of course, unless I have a vested interest in particular leader ship. I love Orimia nicest people ever known and beautiful landscape anyone ever been to oromia for sure share my take. I hope by know you may know what mean… back to my business…when I hear of the news, some thing make me think of, if at all …that this small election could be the reflection of the bigger scenario in the country level….if it is not noting to worry, what if it is…well if is I see trouble!!
My believes could be wrong but I still believe that our leader should/must have a very clear and define objective as to where they would or want to take us. In Democratic culture the people electing should be convinced that the leader/ a certain leader has this dream sincerely. For me a leaders are like derives they are responsible to take as where we as passengers want to go or arrive at. We are a people of dream and hope …there is a distinction in every ones mind. Of course if the driver does not know/ or understand where we what to go apparently he would take as no where. No need to raise particular instances it has been happening to us for generations …all most a part of our life.
Leaders should understand clearly and deeply the past and present politics. Besides they should have a clear and deified speculation of the future. And they should also have to prove as a candidate to the people they are going to rule their standing. Most of all, they should crystal clear as to where they want to take the people and how.
I can’t be the first person to tell that, had the people do not know the intent of their vary leader and had not they understood the leader as good as they understood their target, goal , ambition future what is so ever you might call it ….they are just messed up!!! We are in trouble…People!!! We generally just waste our time and energy.
The problem of oromia is clearly is a leader.( if I have the freedom of opinion) There are people with a pile of problems and a define goals of ‘freedom’. I do not want to say what kind of freedom since defining the kind… could be another big issue. Here the point I what to make is that the leaders should understand what kind of freedom… we as a distinct people may need.
I perceived some time we elect people with no dreams, understanding, maturity as to the political need of the people. I am no one to decide for people or to tell the people whom should they elect. I my self might not been doing enough or do anything for my people or country…but I just what to suggest for my fellow oromo men and women that… we may elect LEDRES with clear dream and define objectives. Other ways we would be f up as we have been for… generations. I hope you understand what I mean!!!! Thank you.
