Hey U GUYS all! First, Let us not forget that we r one !
Any ways it is clear that if something is alive ther will be diversity in unity! So the confrontation between Very beloved Dr. Berhanu and Eng. Hailu Shawel should not be taken as a suprise, no one of them is to be forced to accept one anothers idea with out any stronger logic!! This a sign of maturity, and a kind of seriousness!! Some times rigidity cannot be and may not bring success, So this can creat difference between them! No one is better than the other so they can have a difference. That is a sign of strenght!
That is the weak point of the ruling party! Coz they seem that they r using one person's mind! What if that one person is wrong, should they have shot & kill children with him! U see here lies the benefit of Confrontation in Uinity
like the CUD!!
Let us not give comments,please , from the stand point of Hatered, racism and benefit, these days we know that we have a lot of beneficiaries in our country in Ethiopia, not only NGO beneficiaries but also a kind of EPRDF-benficiaries- who cannot live a true and honest life but they r always dependent on the unchecked & cheked but stolen budget of the Government! And i know the prime minister only byhimself cannot at all controll them, He strongly and urgently needs help from the Oppositions,U see only these beficiaries want to see the failure of the Opposition parties. basically, i appreciate the Opposition parties, coz it is a miracle for them even to reach here, at this strong level with that kind of crooked EPRDF- party members- who still abuse and misuse not only the bureaucratic sytem..HUHu! it has alrady been,... But also the Security stystem and more than evrything the Defence of the Country!!! So in this case what ever the CUD went through should be considdered as Success and Positive Growth and Transformation, U know what no body expects that His new born baby to be an adolescent or an age of - 18- in three weeks or three years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
>And in my conclusion - LET ME SAY ONE BIG THING IN TERMS OF ...POINTS!
1- lET US NOT FORGET TO RESPECT & LOVE OUR PRESENT GOVERNMENT AND THE PIME MINISTER- Ato- Meles Zenawi- even though we have a lot of 'inconveniencies or differences' with his ideaology! Coz he is pratically in the position delegating the country! Let us not forget to pray for him! If not ,then things might even get worst at all! Like in the case of Heatler in Germeny !!
The regreation for what is done by Heatler in Germany is not beared or endured by Heatler himself but by the innocent civilians and the former generation of that time, Same wise donot forget that for the failure of the ruling paryt, the cost will be dividend to all the citizens- in particullar to the exisiting genaration- So let us be goo and work together for the sake of ourselves! That we might not pay a price that is not good- Like the killings!!
U know what if 'Leaders'- if they r not supported by prayers then they could be the craziest persons in the whole world!! I thhink these teching is forgotten by the ABUNE Paulos- coz he is busy of his position than his Responsibility to be truthful to GOD and his People/members!!
2- Let us learn real & matured politics from like Former President -respected Parliamnetian- Dr- NEgassu Gidada-He will be in the History of the Country to be the first person who succeeded in the modern politics of the country!!He is a kind of role model! I wish if he give tutorial classes for the 300 and something EPRDF - Parliamenterians and different Ministers!!!!!

Also the Matured and reliable and wonderfull leader - Dr then Now Proffesser Beyen Petros- He is a great role model..a kind of matured- Men U can trust him, as a person , even more than u can or we can trust our Ruling party ministers in General. Proffesr Beyene has showed the principle of growing in the public opinion base without violence and GUN!!Dr-Nagsso has showed the principle of peacefull poitics by showing his difference to Eprdf and then showing confidence in his VOTERS! Oh Men! How wonderfull ! Now he is back and is fighting with the idea which he hates a lot not with his former party colleagues But with their subtle political AGENDAS!!!

The same thing with Proffeser, HE is surving his country and still improving his career under a delicate & Untrustable governing system-at the same time opposing them!!!! History will never forget them, these two successful politicians- I think they are a little bit ahead of most us!!

If u ask me that when ever i be a father & a grand father- to tell the history- the present fact for us now- i will have only to say things about these TWO wonderfull heroes, then the wonderfull coming heroes of the CUD's.. but if u ask me what i tell about the ruling paryt i dont have any good thing or value i got from them to share for my sons and grand sons!! Might be - they all- the EPRDF;s peole,..my SON.. they all were solidiers in one time befor the Derg Regime and they WON him through cheated War and continued another Derg for almost 16 years-that includes the killing of the CUD supporters..that is it,,i mean we r waiting when they give the power for the people= the oppositions..huhu that Day..
Any ways let us learn a lot from these seniors!! And let us not forget to apprecite and to thank these senoirs for waht they have done whenever we get them in any place!!
Let us not be like EPRDF leaders- they donot know how to thank their SENIORS for what they did in the past- LIke Geat Gebru Assrat and they donot know how to Respect difference and Public opinion!!!

3- At least let us appreciate for the very minimal good things that r done and still being done by the GOVERNMENT!!
Let us keep our balance to be fair..reduce our hetered for the irritating & disappointing EPRDF cadres..they really r irritating coz they r nonsense, but eventhough they r let us treat them brotherly & friendly, coz if we need unity in our camp,,..we should have to be better than them!!!

And it is always true that the 'divided' CUD is 10 better than the MULE & HORSE style -'UNDIVIDED' EPRDF. That is all his parlimenterians and the Robot Ministers....

Judge me wrongly..I dont hate them but after I sow American Congress Man & officials in some wonderfull incidents in U.S. hooo!hUh!! I HAVE DEIDED NOT TOLERATE THE LIES OF THE EPRDF- CADRES...CUD IS 10 TIMES BETTER THAN ANY KIND OF THEIR COMBINATION..BASICALLY THEY R NOT SIMILLAR IN NATURE...VOTED - CUD Vs. NON-VOTED-EPRDF..IF U TOUCH THEIR INTEREST-IN SOME CASES WHICH MIGHT BE AGAINST THE INTEREST OF THE MAJORITY..THEY R MORE VIOLENT THAN US, U REMEBER THE PEOPLE USED SMALL STONES BUT THEY USED BIG GUN CAPSULES.

You are quite right that CUD is very much alive and kicking. CUD's leaders are probably the most dedicated and visionary Ethiopians we have seen in recent histroy. But these leaders shouldn't be too complacent about it and waste this historic opportunity by division over triavials.
