Oromo Press Blog-zine will feature Biyyaa's paper

In an exclusive Oromo Press Blog-zine, we feature OROMOO OROMIYAAFI OROMOO BIYYAMBAA QABSOO BILISUMMAA OROMOO KEESSATTI: EENYUTU FAKKEENYA GAARIIDHA?, a research paper in Afaan Oromoo by Qeerransoo Biyyaa.

Biyyaa maps the current challenges and opportunities in the Oromo national struggle. The author of the paper compares and contrasts the contributions of Oromos in Oromia and Oromos in Diaspora to the Oromo national struggle for freedom. holier than thou??

Dear "Oromopress"

your idea to write research paper about the diaspora is good.
But it is the stupidest idea to talk to the oromo Diaspora in afaan oromo only!
yes, some people speak oromiffa in diaspora but most oromos who:

1 - were born in the Diaspora
2 - came to diaspora from urban Oromia like adama & finfinne (where many oromos speak amharic)

3 - spent most of their lives in diaspora (often secluded from other oromos)

HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT

even OLF uses English on its website and it uses both Oromiffa and Amharic in its radios.

Wallaga diaspora wants unity

there is a lott of blame to go around for the dis-unity of the Oromoo diaspora comunity, most notably the role of religion for Muslim Oromos who seem to relate more with the Muslim somalis than the rest of us.

why do Muslim Oromos in minnesota live separate life from Evangelical Oromos? we are not in Harahghe anymore
